Bangalore, April 23, 2015 (News Team): Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, today unveiled its Galaxy VM three-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with ECOnversion™ technology at a Consultant Program in Bengaluru.

Galaxy VM ranges UPS are up to 99% efficient and is easy to deploy with seamless integration into the electrical, physical and monitoring environments of customers operating medium data centers, industrial or facilities applications. Galaxy VM employs Schneider's patented ECOnversion™ technology which combines high energy efficiency and seamless switch-over to inverter mode in the event of a mains power failure. It is the first UPS in India that has 4 level inverter technologies.

"Schneider Electric's patented ECOnversion™ combines the advantages of double conversion on-line topology and advanced ECO mode technologies, providing our customers with an innovative new UPS solution that helps to maintain the highest levels of energy efficiency."

Adding more on the product, Manish Gokhale, General Manager, Business Development (ISB) 3 Phase Power, Schneider Electric India, said, “Galaxy VM key component is that it is fully integrated into the comprehensive Schneider energy management solution for data center and industrial manufacturing applications. Galaxy VM deploys the latest in technology to lower energy cost through very high efficiency, ECOnversion mode technology for our customers.”

Galaxy VM impeccably amalgamate into the electrical network using state of the art electrical performances like very wide input voltage window, high overload and short circuit capacity and integrated back feed protection providing excellent power quality. The highly compact Galaxy VM also add well with the facility monitoring systems and offers energy storage flexibility that allows tailoring of the solution to specific needs.

Galaxy VM offers flexible energy storage solutions with swappable modular battery modules and fans that can be replaced without the need to go to maintenance bypass, thus increasing availability and load protection. It also offers an unrivalled operating range, able to support loads from 160 to 200kVA.

Galaxy VM features top and bottom cable entry, full front service access, back to the wall installation and included start up service making it one of the easiest UPS’s in its class to deploy, install and maintain.
