Mumbai, June 15, 2017 (Online News India): The thin line between Bollywood and Television is diminishing with every passing day. TV shows today are upping their game in terms of story, and the overall production value. Not just the shows, but the actors too are giving tough competition to Bollywood actors, be it looks or their talent.

Meanwhile one actress has been on cloud 9 because the cast and crew members find a striking resemblance of hers with Late actress Smita Patil.

Actress Shivani Tomar will soon be seen in STAR Plus’s upcoming show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, as Chandni, where she’ll be seen opposite Barun Sobti. Chandni, in the show, hails from Allahabad, and is extremely learned in the Geeta. Shivani will be seen in an ethnic and rustic look in the show. She has been given cotton lehengas, and oxidized jewellery. The first look of Shivani has raised a lot of interest, in terms of her look. A lot of people have found a prominent similarity between Shivani’s look and Late. Smita Patil, who had mesmerized the audiences with her captivating performances.

When asked, Shivani said, “I love my look on the show! Even though it’s slightly heavier, I love the colors and the textures. A lot of people have compared my look to that of Smita Patil, and I am flattered. I have just started out, and this compliment means the world to me. However, there’s so much to learn, and a really long way to go! I hope that I can follow her path and make my characters resonate with the audience.”
