Ludhiana, November 07, 2014 (Neel Kamal Sonu): To make sure all residents of Ludhiana district get their Aadhaar Cards made so that they are enrolled under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana the District Administration has set up 16 permanent enrolment centres in different parts of the district. These centres would have a total of 19 machines through which the residents can get their Aadhaar cards made.
Deputy Commissioner Mr Rajat Agarwal informed that Registrar, UID Punjab has directed that all residents of Ludhiana district, who have not got their Aadhaar cards made yet be enrolled to avail of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna.
Four machines for making of Aadhaar cards have been set up at Suwidha Centre at Ludhiana and one each at the office of EO office at Samrala, Suwidha Centre at Samrala, Suwidha Centre at Raikot, BDPO office at Raikot, Suwidha Centre at Payal, Suwidha Centre at Jagraon, BDPO office at Jagraon, BDPO office at Dehlon, EO office at Khanna, BDPO office at Khanna, BDPO office at Ludhiana 2, BDPO office at Pakhowal, BDPO office at Doraha, BDPO office at Sidhwan Bet and BDPO office at Machhiwara.
Deputy Commissioner has urged all the residents of Ludhiana district to get their Aadhaar cards made so that they can avail all benefits under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.
