Amritsar, May 19, 2015 (Munish Sharma): “Rukhsat-2015” was a time for fond farewells to students of final year of Global Institutes. Junior students of the Institute threw a gala party for seniors and regaled them with anecdotes, games, song and dance.

It was an occasion for the outgoing students to look back at the time they spent in the Institute and the professional education they acquired during the period.

As the juniors extended their best wishes and faculty showered their blessings bidding farewell, the outgoing students remembered and recalled nostalgic moments with friends, faculty and juniors in and around the campus.

The song, dance, skits was a part of the cultural bonanza along with games that saw moments of smiles, tears, reminiscences.

A Beauty pageant was the highlight of the evening that drew much admiration and guffaws from all over some slips and misses as students sashay down the ramp in colorful attires. More than a 100 students participated in which Ravinder Kaur was crowned Miss Farewell  and Vaibhav Singh bagged the Mr. Farewell title.

The warm-hearted send off and the fun filled celebration was chaired by Dr. B.S. Chandi, Chairman, Global Institutes who inaugurated the festivities and later crowned the winners and motivated them to empower themselves for their future endeavors. He urged students to carry forward the ideals inculcated by their almamater and make these values a base for their future actions and thoughts.

Dr. Akashdeep Singh, Vice Chairman, showered his blessings on the students and said that the efforts, determination and confidence in students is noticeable. He congratulated them for successful completion of their respective courses.

While congratulating winners and lauding the efforts of the staff and students for making the party memorable, he addressed outgoing students, “You must have a clear vision and a mission as after this you would be entering in the most important phase of your life.”
