Ludhiana, September 02, 2015 (Neel Kamal Sonu): The Annual Day of pre-primary students of Sat Paul Mittal School aptly named ‘The Magical World’ was a fun-filled and power packed show of talent, confidence and joy. The two-hour event brought to life the colours of Satyan spirit enriched with enthralling performance by the children. 

The event show cased the ‘Magical World’ of the Satyans and the audience was taken to a fantasy land by the Satyans. The august gathering was given a warm welcome by Bhupinder Gogia, Principal, Sat Paul Mittal School. The event started with the Annual Report which highlighted the accomplishments of the Satyans in the previous session. The Satyans read it out with utmost poise and confidence. The main highlight of the event was the ‘Curtain Raiser’ where in the Satyans reiterated their belief that if you can dream it, you can do it.

The auditorium resounded with applause as the Satyans expressed their remarkable views confidently. The Curtain–raiser also showcased the making of the show. Have faith and God will give you love, peace and understanding. This virtue of having faith in God was displayed by the Satyans as they invoked the blessings of the Almighty through a prayer ‘I see you Lord’ in the beginning. The Satyans gave a soul stirring performance through‘Do you believe in Magic? ‘Reiterating their belief that magic believes in yourself, if you believe in yourself then anything is achievable. A mesmerizing performance ‘Fairy World’ was presented by the Satyans which set the ball rolling for the audience and warmed them up for the show. They motivated the audience to live a stress free life with a happy-go-lucky attitude. ‘Barbie the Princess’ was another mind boggling performance by the Satyans emphasizing on the fact that there is a star hidden right inside you and you have to believe in yourself. A mesmerizing performance ‘The Jungle Book’was presented by the Satyans which motivated the audience to be a champion. It was followed by a charismatic and captivating performance ‘Aladdin and Jasmine’ showcasing utmost agility and precision with which the Satyans were trained.

Another phenomenal performance presented by the Satyans was ‘Cinderella’ illustrating the idea that we should take life as it comes and move ahead to reach for the stars. This performance made the audience realize the fact that life is an amalgamation of good and bad; joy and sorrows, and one must believe in magic of belief and imagination to change the world despite odds. The parents were simply astounded by the Satyan spirit in ‘Harry Potter’, ’Wall-E’ and ‘Peter Pan’. A dazzling visual treat, the grand finale ‘The Carnival of Joy’ through which the Satyans suggested that the Satyan spirit is always full of fun and frolic.

Teachers along with the choreographers and the students worked very hard to put up a great show and the result was evident in the performance of the children. The Chief Guest of the day Dr. Manisha Prabhakar, professor and HOD, Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Gian Sagar Dental College and Hospital, Banur was all elated by the enthralling performance of the Satyans. She said that it was indeed an enchanted performance by the tiny tots and Sat Paul Mittal School is a magical place where the dream of every Satyan comes true. The parents were excited about the performance and felt very proud of their children. In the end, Neha Sehgal, Head Junior School proposed the vote of thanks.
