Ludhiana, August 13, 2015 (Neel Kamal Sonu): Independence Day, the red letter day in the history of India was celebrated with patriotic fervor in Spring Dale Sr. Sec. Public School. The School premise was fully decorated with tri-colour buntings, balloons and flags. Bathed with love for the motherland the blooming buds of kindergarten came dressed as naval, army, air force officers, patriots, soldiers, freedom fighters etc. displaying the spirit of patriotism.
The students of classes I to V did class decoration on the theme Independence Day and for classes VI to VIII tri-colour hand-band making activity was conducted. The students of classes IX to XII participated in Face Painting Competition, colouring their faces with the Colours of our national flag.
The esteemed Managing Director and Founder Principal, Avinash Kaur Walia accompanied by Chairman Nirmal Singh Walia, Director Mandeep Singh, Director Jarnail Singh, Deputy Director Kamalpreet Kaur and Principal Anil Sharma, appreciated the efforts put in by the students in celebrating the 69th Independence Day. Avinash Kaur Walia was highly elated to see the skills of the students and she infused the spirit of patriotism by talking about great heroes and martyrs whose sacrifices made us attain freedom. She also encouraged them to be one regardless of religion, caste and creed and work for Peace in the world.
