Ludhiana, February 26, 2015 (Neel Kamal Sonu): Department of Commerce of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines Ludhiana organized a two-day workshop on “Communication Skills and Business Etiquettes” for students of graduate and post-graduate classes on 25 and 26 February, 2015.
The workshop was conducted by Rupa Pahwa, CEO of International School of Etiquettes (ISOE), Ludhiana. She acquainted the students with different facets of personality. She focused on aspects of conversation, social skills, hosting corporate guests, body language, business etiquettes, telephone etiquettes, table manners and table etiquettes.
132 students participated in the workshop. The workshop included various activities, role plays, slide shows and worksheets. It emphasised that even the small things can make a big difference and good business etiquettes pays off in the long run.
One of the students commented that this workshop would enkindle the flame of self-esteem by increasing the confidence manifold. The workshop enlarged the perspective of students enabling them to broaden their horizon in today’s social and competitive business world.
On this occasion Principal of the college Dr. Renu Saini appreciated the efforts made by the department and she stressed on the relevance of personality grooming and highlighted the practical value of such workshops.
