Ludhiana, February 9, 2015 (Neel Kamal Sonu): Springdalians Aasa Singh of class IX, Gaurav of class X, Dikshant of class IX and Tarunpreet of class X reached in the Top 25 of Young Scientist India 2015 Contest held in Chennai. Being the only school to be selected from Punjab, school presented 4 science models on various themes like Electronics, Aeronautical Sciences and Robotics.
Organized by “The Hindu” and “Space Kidz India” the competition was held at Hindustan University, Chennai. Total161 students participated from different schools of India. There were overall 5 special Prizes out of which 2 were bagged by Springdalians. The students were awarded certificates, trophies and medals.
Managing Director of the School Avinash Kaur Walia congratulated the students and patted them for their excellent performance. She also appreciated their hard work and dedication with which they prepared their models and presentations in a very innovative way. The Chairman Nirmal Singh Walia, Director Mandeep Singh, Deputy Director Amita Mittal and Principal Kamalpreet Kaur also applauded the winners and boasted their moral.
